Policy Agreement


Cancellation Policy
Overnight housesitting:
A full refund is available if you cancel by 12:00pm one week before the stay begins.
If canceled later than 12:00pm one week before the stay begins, a 50% refund is available for the first seven canceled days of the stay and a 100% refund is available for any additional days.
If the stay was initiated and booked within 7 days of the stay beginning date, a full refund is available if cancelled within 24 hours of stay confirmation. Thereafter, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 days, 100% for additional days.
Walks and Drop ins:
A full refund is available if appointment is canceled at least 24 hours before the start time. I understand that emergencies happen and plans change, so depending on circumstances, an agreement can be made between the two of us.

Scheduling Policy
To make scheduling easier and smoother, it would be greatly appreciated if walks were scheduled as far in advance as possible. Often times I have to put other requests on hold until I find out my weekly schedule, so the sooner I know, the easier it is for me to ensure all doggies get the care they deserve. Ideally Walks for the week should be scheduled by Sunday evening at the latest, but again the sooner the better. Please note, there is a $2.00 fee for walks requested same day and $5/day fee for Overnight petsitting requests made within 24 hours of your start date.


General Terms of Service
Payment and reservation confirmation is required before the service term begins. Owners are required to provide sufficient supplies for the duration of the service period. If additional supplies are needed, I will purchase them and pet owners agree to reimburse costs. Pet/home owner agrees to notify me and pay for additional visits if he/she is late in returning. Pet owner also agrees to notify me when he/she returns.

Payment Policy
In most cases, payment for services is due within 3 days of confirmation/receipt of invoice in order to hold your dates. In some cases such as for lengthy overnight stay more than 1 week, I will accept a 50% deposit, then the rest will be due 1 week before the beginning date of the stay.
If the service is requested within 2 days of the start date, payment is due immediately following the approval and subsequent sending of the invoice.
If payment has not been received before the start date, I will not be able to fulfill your request for service.
A late fee of $10 will be added to invoices that have not been paid 7 days past the due date. You will be emailed a couple reminders before and after invoices are due. Under certain circumstances this will be waived, such as invoice emails going to spam box. If it is not feasible for you to pay within the 7 days, please let me know in advance and we will work something out.
